Jai Ganesh Deva is a Hindi aarti to Lord Ganesh and one of the most widely sung aartis in Hindu homes. It opens "Jai Ganesh Jai Ganesh Jai Ganesh Deva, Mata Jaki Parvati Pita Mahadeva" and has a refrain and five short stanzas about the one-tusked, kind Lord, one of which names "Sur Shyam". Most household pujas open with it, and it is sung on Wednesdays, on Sankashti Chaturthi and every evening of Ganesh Chaturthi.

He has a single tusk, he is full of kindness, and he bears four arms; vermilion shines on his forehead, and he rides upon a mouse.

Ladduan Ka Bhog Lage Sant Karen Seva
Betel leaves are offered to him, flowers are offered, and dry fruits too; laddoos are offered as his food, and the saints serve him.

Banjhan Ko Putra Det Nirdhan Ko Maya
He gives sight to the blind and a healthy body to those afflicted with disease; he gives children to the childless and wealth to the poor.
